Lease and Rental Policies
Pursuant to the terms of the Declaration, Unit Owners may elect to lease their homes. Any Unit Owner leasing a Unit MUST send notification to the Marlborough Board of Directors at:
Marlborough Condominium Association
c/o 180 High St. #6
Portland, ME 04101
or by email
A completed TENANT INFORMATION FORM, a signed copy of the written lease agreement, and a signed Lease Addendum is to be supplied to the Marlborough. Failure to notify the Board may result in fines.
A move-in/move-out fee of $100.00 will be applied upon the initiation of each new lease to cover incidental moving damage associated with Unit turnover. A MOVING NOTIFICATION FORM must also be submitted to the Board.
Unit owners that choose to lease their Unit must require the Tenant to comply with the Declaration, By-Laws and Rules and Regulations. No portion of any Unit, other than the entire Unit, shall be leased for any period. Written Leases are required.
Sub-leasing is not permitted. Transient occupants are prohibited. Accordingly, no initial lease agreement is permitted for occupancy of less than thirty days.
